Our Chef Owner Gulsidel has been cooking for nearing 3 decades.
His cuisine draws inspiration from across the globe, and brings a bit of everything to the table. Chef works with Washington farms and ranches to build seasonal menus that draw from the Pacific Northwest bounty, while seeking out international small heritage operations and family owned producers. Our ethos is built on quality ingredients that are daring, familiar, and seasonal.
We are a small staff with a great love for this industry.
In 2020 when Covid changed the restaurant landscape across the world, our team found themselves setting down new roots on Bainbridge Island.
Founded in 2008 on Bainbridge Island, Amelia Wynn is a small lot winery that produces Bordeaux, Rhone, Italian, and Spanish varietal wines. Vintner Paul Bianchi participated in his first crush 24 years ago and has gone on to produce wines that have won numerous national awards as well as 97 point scores. Grapes are sourced from notable vineyards from Eastern Washington where terroir and vineyard age is paramount. Importantly attentive élevage in the cellar insures wines are optimally aged prior to bottling and release.
Opened in December 2019, the bistro brings the vision of Paul Bianchi and Wendy Armstrong to life - focusing on good food and featuring Amelia Wynn wines.
In 2021 Chef Gulsidel Velazguez Ayala signed on as the bistro's head Chef. In 2022 the restaurant was voted best Bistro on Bainbridge.
